I buckled and bought from the Sephora Sale…

I wasn’t going to buy anything.  I really wasn’t.  There wasn’t anything that I needed, and I found very few things that I wanted.  But, two hours before the sale ended, I decided to restock on some items that I have been super enjoying lately and will run out of long before the next sale.

Origins:

Great and underrated products.  I noticed that the cast members at Sephora weren’t eager to sell them, so I am guessing that they don’t have freebies and contests going currently for the employees.  I like the price points on most of the products, and they are always offering outstanding deals on sets. Take your time and look through everything they offer; some sets offer all mini’s and others all full-sized.

Ginzing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer:

ginzing.jpgCAD 38 and I have to be honest. This stuff works wonderfully on my super dry and tired skin.  It left me glowy and soft all day long.  A little will go a long way with this gel, so it lasts a long time too.  Not super crazy about the tub over a pump dispenser, but packaging aside, this product is the bomb.

Ginzing SPF 40 Tinted Moisturizer:

ginzing2This is taking the same phenomenal product above and adding sunscreen (which you know you need year-round) and a self-adjusting tint. CAD 52, this product is not for everyone.  I purchased it when I discovered that Clinique had discontinued my favorite PEP-START tinted mineral moisturizer (why oh why), and I have been trying to find something to replace it with.  If you are super deep or super fair, this product is not going to work on your skin.  Super pale folks will find it really dark or orange, super deep skinned lovelies have reported a white/grey cast on their skin.   I am a medium.  This gives me the illusion of a tan, and it works well under my makeup.  Get a sample of this first.

Benefit:

Gimme Brow + Volumizing Gel:

gimme.jpgA brow gel with built-in microfibers to give the illusion of fantastic thick brows. Prices range from CAD 17-32 depending on size.  This is a product I haven’t tried before, and I will provide an in-depth review once I get a chance to check it out.

Limited Edition Brow Superstars:

browsuperstars.jpgThis sat in my cart for the entire duration of the sale before I removed it at the last moment.  This is a set of 6 FULL SIZED brow products on for CAD79, and the regular retail on all of that would be $192.  If you have anyone that is a brow fanatic in your life, get them this kit.
