Latest Releases for October 2019

Here we are in October, the air is crisp. There is a chill in the air, and the releases just keep cranking out.  Here are a few of the notable ones you may wish to consider spending your hard-earned dollars on.

Carli Bybel x ABH Palette:

carli.jpgAvailable on the ABH website and soon to be available everywhere.  Pretty colors promising the standard ABH formula 14 shades should be about $60CAD at Sephora.  The tones are mellow, but with so many launches in recent weeks, will customers be scrambling to purchase this product?  Only time will tell.

NARS SoftCore Mini Blush and Balm Set:

narsminiAvailable now at Sephora, this stocking stuffer is available in three colorways, offering a mini blush and a mini lip balm as part of the Studio 54 collection.  $32CAD is a lot to spend on something that is only getting a 3-star rating on Sephora. The main complaint?  The blush size is way too small.

Pat McGrath Labs Blitz Astral Quad Eyeshadow Palette:

astral$86CAD, available in 2 colorways.  These four pan palettes are the same cost as the MTHRSHP palettes.  The colors are stunning. The formula is amazing. Is it worth it? You decide.  Available at Sephora and on the Pat McGrath website.

Hourglass Scattered Light Holiday Trio:

A trio of cream shadows available for $60CAD at Sephora, also available on the Hourglass website.  I love Stila cream shadows, and these are just amazing and stunning in every way.  Use it often, don’t SAVE it for a particular day.  Glitter and shine baby. Glitter and shine.

Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions Palettes:

obsessions.jpgThree nude 9 pan palettes from Huda Beauty.  $37CAD at Sephora and on the Huda Beauty website. Go nude for half the cost of Urban Decay’s Naked palettes.  Beautiful for more subdued looks.  I like the size, but in all honesty, it’s nothing new.  Still loving the BIBA palette from Natasha Denona more for neutrals. Or even the New Nudes palette from Huda Beauty.
