The Ordinary Caffeine Solution

I love The Ordinary like I love long weekends.   The product offerings are cost-effective to try, made with high-quality ingredients, and generally little miracle workers.  Then this came along.

  • Super cost-effective($6.70 at Sephora)
  • Does de-puff eyes
  • Vegan
  • Cruelty-Free

  • Gave the appearance of dried-out OLD LOOKING eyes
  • Only available online
  • Does nothing for dark circles

I used this serum religiously for weeks.  The packaging is no standout, but that is part of the reason why the products are so cost-effective.  The serum itself is a thick yellowish solution that stays right where you apply it and promises to reduce puffiness, get rid of dark circles, and make you look refreshed.  Who wouldn’t want that?  After many weeks, I can say that I won’t reorder it, my eyes started to look more and more crepey, my fine lines have been enhanced, and my eyes appear to be way OLDER than they are.   This is a complete nightmare product!  Avoid at all costs.  If you are bound and determined to try it out, make sure the eye area is moist when you apply the serum.
