Palmer’s Cleansing Oil

For $10 you can get your hands on 6.5 fl oz/190ml of cleansing oil.  I purchased the entire Palmer’s line to try it out and see how well it stacked up to the competition.  The oil itself smells like Rosehips, which I enjoyed.  This light cleanser is packed with Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Argan oil, Sweet Almond, and Grapeseed oils (to name a few) and it works surprisingly well.

I found that my makeup came off quickly, even stubborn eye makeup.  There was no oiliness or residue left behind.  My skin did feel a tad dry after use but not enough to be problematic.  I didn’t have any issues with clogged pores, and I did appreciate that it was free of Parabens and Sulfates.

My issue with the oil occurred a few weeks into using it.  The cleanser became thicker in consistency and texture.  A glob of separated, solidified oil took root at the bottom of the container.  As a result, I pitched the remaining part of a bottle in the trash.  Before that, I did find my eyes to be a bit irritated from the regular use of the product.  It did work well while avoiding the eye area.

All in all, the product is perfect for the price. Worth a try if you get a chance.
