When I received this product in PR, I could have cried. My hair has been destroyed recently thanks to a stylist who damaged my hair to the point of random breakage, frizz, and sudden excessive shedding. That isn’t even discussing the massacre she delivered on my blonde color. Everything I put on my hair now has to be gentle, nourishing and repairing.
Enter Garnier’s Smoothing Treat. Available in four different formulas, this hair treatment can be used as a conditioner, mask or leave in treatment. This product retails at Walmart for $4. That will get you 100ml of beautifully scented product. This works out to .04 cents per ml.
This product is Vegan, free of Silicones, Dyes, and Parabens. It boasts 94% biodegradable formula and 98% Naturally derived ingredients. Filled with Avacado, Sunflower, Coconut, and Olive oils it also had nourishing Shea butter and Soy oil. Which works out to a bunch of great natural components.
I personally didn’t like the tub style container, I would have much rather seen a pump bottle. However, the container is entirely recyclable. The treatment itself is thick, like Greek yogurt and has a beautiful scent that will last all day. The instructions list three different options for use, and my favorite is as a leave in conditioner. I enjoyed the light scent all day. My hair wasn’t weighed down, and it felt soft.
After a week of using this product every single day, it is easy to say that I will be trying the other formulas. This is an excellent product at a great price point. Check it out and tell me which formula is your favorite.
As described on the Garnier website:
