This liquid lip retails for $20 which gives you 0.09oz/2.6g. Available in 11 different shades you are sure to find the perfect one. As I have mentioned in previous GC reviews, I am a proud affiliate of the company, and I have a discount code available for use if you would like no pressure, no shade. This article is not sponsored in any way. I am privileged to have received this in PR. As always, if its great I will tell you if it sucks I will tell you that as well.
My shade is Cherry Bomb. It appears super dark in the tube, pink on the wand and the most beautiful red on the lips. Often compared to Kat von D’s Dazzle, this product rings in at a price point $10 less than Kat’s with zero of the associated company drama.
The formula is smooth, the application is one coat opaque. The color is red with a silver metallic sheen. The metallic sheen is surprisingly subtle, which I was thankful for. The dry down only took a couple of minutes, and I was decently happy with the results.
Although it was not transferred proof, I didn’t end up with any product on my teeth (thank heavens!), and after a long day of eating and shopping, my lips still retained perfect coverage. It even lasted through an end of evening bath in good form.
As described on the Gerard Cosmetics website:
A rock n’ roll red that’s just so pretty. Soft enough to wear during the day but the metallic shimmer makes it a true showstopper.
