Clinique Rinse-off Foaming Cleanser

Clinique. A staple and mainstay of the beauty world.  Often unnoticed, or failing to get the love that it deserves.  The brand Clinique was founded in 1968 as a subsidiary of Estee Lauder.  This series of products then stood out then as the only allergy tested and dermatologist approved on the market and in 2008 Clinique entered into a partnership with Allegan to develop a line of skin care that is only available in physician’s offices.

$31.99 on Amazon

I was lucky enough to be gifted this cleanser, along with several other Clinique products by the one and only Dave Lackie, Editor of Beauty Departure Magazine.   It has been a long time since I had thought of Clinique, and I was pretty stoked to become reacquainted with the brand.

This cleanser retails for $31.99 through Amazon.  That will deliver 150ml/5.0oz of product.

This is a lightweight cleanser does feel like a mousse and has no scent.  It almost melts into your hands and applies quite smoothly.  As promised it dissolved my makeup quickly and easily without irritating my eyes.

As described on the Clinique Website:

What It Is
Cream-mousse cleanser gently and effectively rinses away makeup.

What It Does
Foamy cream-mousse cleanser removes long-wearing makeup and sunscreens quickly, gently, efficiently. Comforts with soothing botanicals. Leaves skin feeling moist, clean, fresh. A great value, too: concentrated formula is long-lasting.

My skin felt clean and soft if a bit on the dry side after use.  The hypoallergenic formula ensured that I didn’t have any breakouts or adverse effects.

This brand is indeed the stable-mabel of the beauty world.  This product performed correctly as it claimed it was going to do.  Is this my favorite product from this company? No.  That would be the Clinique Redness Solutions product line which I will detail in an upcoming review.  Will this get the job done every single time without hesitation? Yes.  If you want reliable skincare, then this may very well be the product for you.
