Thanksgiving

Well, Thanksgiving came and went with a lot less gluttony than I had obsessed and worried about.   My sugar consumption WAS up over the weekend.  I went from 9 grams of added sugar to 25 grams on Sunday and well over 75 grams on Monday.   I did refrain from sugared beverages, but I couldn’t resist the amazing apple crisp dessert.  With coconut cream whipped topping.

In the end I didn’t achieve my goal.  I was way over on my sugar.  No, I am not going to beat myself up over a once in a blue moon occurrence.  I did find that sweet stuff tasted super sweet and I couldn’t sleep that night.  The journey continues.
